Visitors Visa (TRV) Processing time 2016 India

Just Wondering if CIC is working on Expected Departure date mentioned in the application.

Early departure date application is processing faster than later one.

Not Sure, just thinking. I also applied online for my parents on July 10-2016. Departure date is Sep-14-2016.

time line for my parents visit visa as follows.
App submitted- 7th July- Online
Passport request- 23rd August

will write update again after the return of passport.

I Applied paper based TRV application for me and my family (wife & 4 yr son). Got email confirmation from vfs on 4th August about application received.
I checked online it says it is being processed at banglore office.
The cic website says about 32 days of processing time as of today.

So should I expect to receive my passport somewhere near around 5 or 6 of September?

Applied in-laws visitor visa online on 16 July, finally received passport request today on 23 August.

Applied in-laws visitor visa online on 16 July, no updates yet.

Applied parents visitor visa online on 22 July, received passport request on 28 July, submitted on 29 July to Bangalore visa office through VFS Ahmedabad, and received back with stamped visa on 8 Aug. Visa expiry is up to a day before passport expiry date.

I don't think it matters to them. I applied to UAE office on July 16th, departure dates were August 20th, and no response yet.

Yeah no one can predict what will be next file they pick up. Life will be much easier if they mention on website on which date they are working on .

Yeah u r right.
Some one from 2016 NDVO forum who applied in August got TRV approved.

I applied on 24th June Online ,, Wanted to travel on 28th Aug but No Updates on the visa yet .
I have few questions
1) Can I upgrade to CAN+ . I did not know about CAN+ visa while applying, I hold Valid 10 year USA visa and have visited USA multiple times in last ten years ..
2) If the Visa is not processed in time , is there a method to 'Cancel the VISA' process ... or give up and wait till the final results .

Even i applied for my parents under can+ program. But it is not processed in 5 days. By this i came to know that even we apply under can+ program there is no guarantee that it will be processed in 5 days.

I had applied paper application trv for my wife on july 28 at vfs Ahmedabad. It still shows processing at Bangalore. Anyone who applied around the same time got any update..?
