I have following questions regarding visitor visa to Canada

I am a resident of Florida where should I apply for Canadian Visa? Washington DC or NewYork

If I apply in person to any of the above consulates in person when can I get my passport back, same day or next day?

The US is a visa exempt country (I'm from Vermont btw) so we don't have to apply for a visa to enter up to six months then we can apply for an extension ( which you do online or mail in through the CIC website) that website is a great resource, if yiu haven't already, you should check it out. www.cic.gc.ca. Hope this helps and always anyone can correct me on this.

you said resident of Florida... are you a US citizen? if so then whats above is true... if you are a Citizen of a Country that requires a visa the links below should help...
