im waiting passport back to me from 78 days i submitted on 24 sep and received by ircc delhi on 26 September .

78 days and counting is not acceptable at all. They can take their own time while reviewing the application, but at least after requesting for the passport it should be quick.

Not having your travel document for 2.5 months and getting no updates is crazy

New member here, applied for TRV. I'm using IRCC new portal and also have a tracker account set up. IRCC Delhi received my passport on 20th November 2024 but I'm yet to receive any updates since then. I went through the past forum pages and it seems currently the people whose passports were received by IRCC Delhi on 12th November are getting their passports dispatched back to them. Is that correct?

I have submitted a webform for this since this is taking too long and I'm thinking if I should withdraw application.

Also are there any other indicators to check if there has been any progress on the application?

Hi there… what is ur vfs? Also you can check the counterfoil message and check if its there… it means it will get despatched the next day.

My VFS is Mumbai, I submitted on 18th November. Also, where can I check the counterfoil? I'm using IRCC new portal so I couldn't find this.

I don't know what the timeline is for withdrawal though. I'm thinking of waiting for a week before doing this.

Also, the processing timeline it says is 114 days for TRV. What does the processing time actually mean though? Is it of the overall process (including biometrics, etc.)?

I think the processing time starts once you have successfully given your biometrics.

If you do end up withdrawing the application, please update the timeline for that here as well. It would be quite helpful

What’s the update on the IRCC status tracker?

It shows 'In progress' on IRCC status tracker. Although I can see that there is a Visitor Visa document number issued for me so I guess the background verification is done but IRCC hasn't updated that on the portal? This is a bit confusing.
