At the time I am making this comment, the processing time for Visitor visa (outside canada) from India is 162 days. It is about to get updated tomorrow, I expect it to go to 180+ days.
After applying visitor visa for my in laws in June 2022 and not receiving any update, I applied for their supervisas in october with upfront medical. Today, the regular visa application status updated to "withdrawn" and Supervisa show "medical passed". Hoping for a quicker result with Supervisa now.
Both my brother and sister-in-law applied for tourist visas in June from Argentina and Colombia. As of yet, there have been no updates, the eligibility process has not begun, and Canada has continued to increase the processing time to 160 days for Argentina and 550 days for Colombia.
Hi, yeah I can share. And yes this is his second refusal. First one was for study in 2017. But he now lives and works in Germany and also a resident there. Took some time off to relax. Reasons below:
- has significant ties in canada
- doesn’t have significant ties outside canada
- reason for application doesn’t meet visit visa requirement. (I can’t remember it verbatim, when I open it again maybe but right now I’m too sad to open the letter again) .
Application was for my common law partner and we have son.
What’s average processing time for your country? Take into consideration the fact that TRVs (including your case) have the lowest priority right now. 6 month wait time is normal, and even more.
I applied for my daughter’s trv/trp in June, too, but processing time went from 70 days to 180 days. We just have to wait.
I am still confused
I applied on June 21 which one is the estimate processing time ?
1- should I add 170 days from June 21 ?
2- I add the 75 days from June 21 ?
3- Add 75 days from today's date ?
4- Add 170 days from today's date ?
