Visitor Visa for NON Essential Travel (please post your timeline here) 2021

I applied visa visitor for my mother from outside Canada from Jan 20,2021 ( withbiometric done) and the application is still processing.
It is already 6.5 months

My wife applied for visit visa in Nov 2020 and done with the biometrics in December 2020 and we have been waiting since then. We submitted the web form on July 25th 2021 and waiting since then. Is there anyone who are in the same boat and received their visa from Dubai ? We still haven't applied for the PR and hoping to do it from within Canada once she is here. Hi. I'm in sort of similar boat as I am waiting for my daughter's visa ever since I had applied in Nov 2020. Just wanted to check if you observed any movement on your application? Also what do you mean by web forms were rejected? Can you pls guide...

So you are on a TRV in Canada? I believe webforms are only for Citizens & PRs...What's the reason for your rejection ?

Hi I am on TRV. On july 19th they update it for fully vaccinated travellers.

Whats your status as of now

No progress on the application status as of now. Just waiting and it's been 2 weeks so I believe I have another week to wait as per their website i.e., 14 Business days. Hoping to get a PPR next week.

I applied for visit in December and gave biometric in Abu-Dhabi. But since then only waiting- My application shows the following

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

I wonder if they are working on my application or not. or at what stage it might be. Its 7 months now
