Visitor Visa application stuck in processing

Hi,

I applied for my parents' Visitor visa via the IRCC portal in February 2024.


Biometrics were uploaded in March, and the IMM 0149E form was requested later in March.


The file has not been updated since. It says the required documents have been uploaded, and they are checking eligibility.

Applicants country of residence: India

Father: a 62-year-old retired officer from Military Engineering Services- civilian rank.

Step-Mother: Married to father for 16 years.

I got the GCMS notes in October, but I can't make sense of anything.

Has someone been through the same situation or the same timeline? Please help.

What is their country of citizenship? The military likely has a large part in the delay. You can post the GCMS notes without any identifying information if you want to.

Country of Citizenship is India. I'm sure it is the military background that is causing the delay (although he was a civilian and never wore a uniform).

Thank you. Can I just copy & paste the ‘NOTES’ portion of the GCMS notes that’s at the end of the file or should I paste the entire 11 pages?
