Multiple calls, GCMS Notes, MP inquiries - no response
CSIS confirmed in GCMS notes that they cleared our file and sent back to CBSA, IRCC says CBSA is conducting check, GCMS says Criminality: Passed, Eligibility: Passed, Security: In Progress
It has been 32 months and 14 days....each and every day I check the portal/tracker for any updates, whenever I order GCMS notes I get a ghost update which just gives me a bit of hope.
Oh and decided to re-apply for one of the parents separately, and IRCC sent back the application as there was already an application in progress.
25 Months and still waiting!! I lost my younger brother and the application has no timeline! Totally devastated. This is very crucial time when I want them to stay couple of months with me and feel a little better.

Sorry to hear about your loss. You should connect with your MP. Non-routine applications can be fast-tracked by them in case of an emergency.
For everyone else, i have heard it can take upto max 4 years
