Hi All, Happy to share that my Mother's visitor visa application got approved !

Application filed: Dec 06, 2021
Biometrics: Dec 22, 2021
BVL & PPR: February 05, 2022

which date was the biometrics accepted on the portal?
did it show latest update and then mention the biometrics completion date?

Biometrics completed on 7th Feb .
Biometrics is not yet updated in the portal .

I applied through an agent on 24 April with bio then no reply now I applied again own my own on feb 8

Review of application began on 4th February 2022.
We haven't had any other updates. I see on this forum and on Facebook that PPR is received on the day that review began or just a few days after. Do I need to be worried?

Hello All,
I am applying for a visitor visa online but I dont have option to upload bank statement, vaccination card and invitation letter. I only had option for passport and my ID card.
Are we not suppose to attach all that before payment is done?

In the portal the documents which we can upload are
- Passport
- Bank statement
-Relationship
-Vaccination card
- Status in Canada of the family member
- Proof of the relationship
- Additional doc explaining why you need to travel (Optional)

Pay the fee (100 cad) and we will have the confirmation immediately that the application is received

I only had option for Passport and ID card. Why is that? Am at the page where to make payment,

Status: In progress

Nothing yet, I really don't understand if an algorithm is in place shuffling applications regardless of the AOR dates, sounds weird. Straightforward application, parents have all documentation and finance and reasons to leave after stay, wife and I (Both PR) are in steady jobs, submitted the employment letters and paystubs etc. There just isn't anything else we can submit to speed things up, so much of waiting for just a visitor visa is ridiculous!

hi your biometrics will show in the portal once you send your application. I applied for my mother and put in her UCI from the old visit visa application and then her biometrics got updated in the portal. Paid only 100

Where is the UCI located on the old Visa plz?

Hi All,

I have a situation, so reaching out to see if anyone faced or heared of the similar situation.

Sent my parent's passports for stamping to IRCC through VFS. Received my father's Passport and counterfoil updated on IRCC account. My mom's passport sent back from IRCC yesterday in transit but no Counterfoil generated in IRCC account. Has anyone seen or heard about this when Passport is already dispatched from IRCC but no counterfoil generated on IRCC account?

Any input is really appreciated.
