I know people from 26/27 and 31 - all are stuck

Oct 31st! Last week some of the oct 26 files were processed - the dates are so random. Makes me want to reapply once more..but again everything is dicey!!!

yeah a few oct 26 went into review and not much after

nothing on the ones after

but I did see someone from oct 31 - for parents getting approved over the weekend

Tempted to re-apply

Hi I am worried I applied for my parents vistor visa on dec 15 2021 biometric done on jan 10 2022 after that no update. Today I called mp office but they if you applied while you are on work permit then it will rejected most likely today I got my ecopr so kind of worried is anyone got vistor visa approved while you are on work permit

That is 100% incorrect

There is no such logic. As long as your parents meet TRV conditions, they will be approved

There are parents and spouses stuck from Oct and nov as well. So you may hear anytime or after them. Only luck matters right now

Hi, thanks to everyone here for their help. Here is the timeline for my parents visa who had their biometrics on file.

GCKey application: Feb 26th 2021
IRCC Portal application: Nov 6th 2021
Confirmation of Biometrics update on GCKey: Jan 26th 2022
GCKey application automatically withdrawn: Feb 2nd 2022

The IRCC portal shows as submitted and has said 'we are reviewing your eligibility' since the day we submitted. Can we be expecting an update? I'm worried that once they got to our GCKey application, they just withdrew it knowing we have a second application in process, while the second application is going nowhere.

Anyone with a similar situation or timeline? TIA

Yes nov/dec/Jan applications are getting approved fast. So frustrating.

I am assuming GC Key appl was withdrawn Feb 2?

Just watch out for the IRCC Portal application. Since it moved to eligibility , you should hear on that soon

Yup me too! Have you heard of anyone who re-applied on the new portal? I hope all the files in oct move!! Im also hearing about a lot of refusals and the wait is only making me anxious.

Congratulations. January files seem to be moving fast. Did your parents have international travel history or a valid US vistor visa? Did you submit any documents showing their property or financial ties to India? Curious because my mom's application that was submitted in Nov-2021 is still stuck and I am not sure what other documents I must submit to expedite the case.

I applied for my parents on Jan 24th, Biometrics done Jan 27th (Mumbai) and have no movement since then. They have held Canadian Visitor Visa before and hold a valid US Visa right now. Visited Canada and US multiple times since last 10 years. Unfortunately, not all Jan files are moving this fast

Well there are people waiting from Sep and afterwards too with similar travel history profiles having no decision. So luck is what matters the most right now sadly.

HI, any October 23rd 2021 visiting visa application approvals from India?
I applied on October 23rd through New portal and no update yet.

I applied on Oct.23 and already received PPR on feb 01.
