Hey Everyone, I am applying for visitor visa for my parents and attaching below documents to the application. Will immensely appreciate advice from those who have gotten visa approved for their parents. I have been scanning through the threads and was not sure how many more documents should I be attaching.
Duration of visit: about 3 weeks Background:- Dad ( Retired) Mom ( homemaker) sponsorship: Mentioned as shared expense between me and my parents Documents attached to the application:
Bank Statements ( Joint account of both parents )
Property agreement sale in the name of my father
Father's income tax returns for last 2 year
fixed deposit slips ( In the name of both )
vaccination proof
Proof of relationship to me: Passport
Proof of marriage: Passport mentions their names in the spouse section( they don't have marriage certificate in English)
Letter of explanation ( explaining how the expense will be shared and accommodation arrangements )
Documents from me and my spouse:
Bank statements
Employment confirmation
Letter of Invitation
PR proof
Are these documents sufficient for approval ? the total proof of funds from my parents that I am planning to submit is around 20k CAD and mine will be separate with similar amount. I am a PR holder in Canada.
Hi All,
Has anybody got their parents TRV approved recently for daughter's pregnancy reason ? I have applied TRV for my MIL to support during my wife's delivery
I wish all the best to everyone. Thank you everyone for information and support. Feel free to reach out to me if anyone need any information. I put file for my parents as representative.
As far as I know, it's 2 different category application being in the system at same time ( TRV and Spousal PR). You can mention that in your invitation letter.

Hi
Did you create the account in your name or in your parents name in the new IRCC portal? I was a bit confused regarding this. I also want to apply for my parents, and would manage the application myself

Congratulations. January files seem to be moving fast. Did your parents have international travel history or a valid US vistor visa? Did you submit any documents showing their property or financial ties to India? Curious because my mom's application that was submitted in Nov-2021 is still stuck and I am not sure what other documents I must submit to expedite the case.
Can anyone help me?
I am permanent resident of Canada( age 23), and applying for my parents' visitor visa on their behalf. Which option should I choose
1. To visit grandparent, grandchild, sibling, half-sibling, step-sibling or non-dependent child who is a Canadian citizen, or permanent resident of Canada.
OR
2. To visit other family who are not listed above or friends for less than 6 months.

Hello Everyone:
Confused about re-applying visitor visa for my spouse again. I am a Canadian citizen. Confusion:
Sep20,2021 - got married in India
Oct18,2021 - applied vv to invite spouse on new portal, not knowing about pregnancy
Nov03,2021 - wife did a pregnancy test, and confirmed positive pregnancy. Didn't update IRCC. Should we have told IRCC about pregnancy?
Jan22,2022 - received refusal on VV.
Jan26,2022 - applied spousal PR online (pregnancy disclosed)
Feb2022 - So I am worried now, that if we re-apply for vv, could they say that we misrepresented, or concealed intent to give birth ; on the first application.
From IRCC website: Therefore, in some cases, the intentional concealment of intent to give birth in Canada may lead to an examination of admissibility under section 40 of the IRPA. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ishing-enter-canada-purpose-giving-birth.html
For one thing, this is not birth tourism, as child will be a Canadian citizen upon birth anyways. Thanks in advance for your responses.
