Visit Visa Application (Using the new IRCC Portal)

Hi, Can someone tell me how to submit passports in India ? Is there any courier service available? We stay far from VFS and I dont want my parents travel physically to the centre now. Any other options ? I checked VFS services website, but did not find any help

For 2 way courier guess this would be the link - https://vfs-cic.mioot.com/forms/PS/. Read page which says passport submission - https://visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/can/covid-19-updates. This page is opened when you select online type under book an appointment at the top

So an update on the second and third applications applied through GCKey on December 25th, 2021 and IRCC portal on January 13th, 2022 respectively:

The "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility" changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements ". Not sure when this change happened since I had not logged in for the last 2 weeks so must have been over that time and we got no email notification either, but still seems to be some progress.

Does anyone know how long it takes from here on out? Thanks!

For Jan 2022 and pending files, whoever had a status change to eligibility often received an approval in 2-3 days from what I saw. Wishing you the best

I had my previous gckey application withdrawn on jan 20, 2022 automatically. But no change yet on new portal for the second application. Has anyone else encountered the same and obtained ppr during this timeline?

Purchasing tickets is not recommended until your TRV has been confirmed.

That’s correct but there is no harm giving that as well!

yes looks like there is a definite order now, i’ve seen oct 19,20,21,22 &23 applications getting approved in consecutive days hopefully it will reach our application soon!
