Hello Every1..I want to apply for visitor visa for brother and his family under new portal. I made a family group for them that includes brother, his wife and 2 kids. filled brothers application. but for his wife and kids, what option should i select for reason for the visit. my brother is my sibling but his wife and kids are not. please help

Today I have applied Visitor Visa for Parents. Applied in the new IRCC portal. I applied as a representative for my parents from Canada.

Same day got bio metric request
7 January biometric submitted

just today I see their current status change from “your action is needed” to “submitted” but no updates inside .

Biometrics submitted Aug 31 st

I applied through Mexico. I haven’t received any response from them. Should I re-apply through the new portal? I don’t have family members in Canada, just my boyfriend.

Does anyone know after visa stamping if consulate send the passport back to VFS office and then VFS office courier it back to us ? If yes then to track the passport do we have to use the same AWB we used when sending the passport to VFS office?

Hi all, for those that have filled the form in the online ircc portal, for the work/ activities section were we are told told write what we have done in the last 10 years, please do i start from 2022 january back to 2012 January. i keep getting error! saying i missed a gap. or do i start from January 2012 to january 2022? please i would be grateful if anyone can help me.

Please provide all the details . Gaps are not acceptable. Even if its of few days , add that and select unemployed .

Hi, When did you apply? I've applied TRV on Nov 19th 2021 for newborn and still the status is showing as "We are processing your application". How come kids application are getting delayed when there are no biometrics/BG check, decision can be taken much faster and they are dependents to travel along with parents. Hope IRCC would consider the kids TRV applications on priority without much delays and clear the backlogs..

There is no priority given to kids right now. I have applications for my children and no movement.

You can raise web forms but they are all getting ignored right now

No fee for biometric if age < 16
