Visit Visa Application (Using the new IRCC Portal)

Hi All
I have applied for mother's visitor visa in this portal.

https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en

It does not ask medical, photo, Vaccination report and so.
It generates Bio metric letter , and we are currently waiting for bio appointment in Chennai.

please help whether this site is legitimate and are we ok not to provide medical, photo, Vaccination report.

Photo will be taken at the time of Biometric verification. You don't need medical and vaccination report for the applying the visa. The vaccination report will helpful when she land in Canada to void Quarantine.

I am trying to create a login to apply for my brother’s trv using new portal but i am not getting an invitation code as it shows technical error. Any thoughts or solutions????

After completing basic questions and putting down my email address, it shows technical error. Can i apply without an invitation code? Or if i apply using IRCC old portal, will it be considered under new policy?

I submitted my parents application using the new portal. Today, we received a passport request, does this mean the visa is approved?

Application submission - 13th October, 2021
BIL request received - 14th October 2021
Biometric Completed - 20th October, 2021
Passport request - 27th October. 2021

I need your help. I am trying to reapply for my parents visa on the new portal. My dad will be the principal applicant, but I already told them my mom will be applying also, at the end they just wanted my dad’s info. Do I have to go through another set of question for my mom?

Yeah, she applied on the new portal around September 15.

She got her UCI and the biometric was done 2 days after submission.

And she didn’t get a passport request yet? Is her application still saying processing? Where is she applying from? I am seeing alot of persons getting through in 14 days so I was very hopeful. Because I submitted my bio on 27th Oct
