If she is on your PR application already, you have to explain why she needs a TRV and how she will leave the country despite having long term plans within Canada

explain your invitation and WP extension details if you have

her VV will be decided on her own docs first. Sometimes on the new portal, people end up getting visa only till WP or SP expiry of spouse. Things are super random to predict.

Means nothing .. It is a standard message on the online account. There is no status for eligibility review. Eligibility review and background check status change on the date a decision is made. You won't see any change to those statuses before that.

this definitely means some officer is reviewing your file, my case i applied first on nov 2021 n status changed to we r reviewing on april 2022, but was stuck there…i reapplied in june n eligibility review started on july 8 n got decision on july 12… which means if you are lucky enough you will get ppr soon btwn your status would have been “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility” this in the beginning

my parents file was rejected 1st time and now we have reapplied on 7th april still no updates ? any similar situation ? we have put on new portal which is quite fats but still no luck

Our timeline is same 07 Apr'22, seen an update in my account that "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." and just rec'd BVL Letter.
