Hello. I was wondering if it's bad not to get the Biometrics validity letter, however the Ircc portal shows the Biometrics were completed?

Date of biometrics enrolment: March 9, 2022
Expiry date: March 9, 2032

I have received my BVL on March 11th but still haven't received a decision.

Application submitted - March 4
Biometric collection letter - March 5
Biometric completed - March 8
BVL - March 11

Still waiting for decision..

It was my mother in law who went to VAC centre to make the biometrics for her. I am not sure what application she had to fill out for that, maybe they were asking where to send the biometrics validity letter and she didn't put my email. If the biometrics are completed, is it necessary to receive the letter? This letter is just a confirmation that you passed your biometrics, right?

I think the letter is just to notify that your biometrics is valid for 10 years. Is the biometric completion updated in your online account? If yes, then you can consider that to be passed.

Hi! I am wondering if anyone got the same error as I did, which is "Countries or territories of residence - list your current country or territory of residence, then add all other countries or territories where you've lived for the past five years, for more than 6 months".

How did you solve it? I tried to delete the application form and start again, but it did not work.

Hello,

My parents applied for visitor visa back in july 21. So far, no updates have been there. I am thinking of reapplying through the new portal and need some help with the application.
Can they mark me as an immediate family member?
The portal lists below definition of an immediate family member:
An immediate family member is defined as a

• spouse or common-law partner
• dependent child (yours, your spouse’s or your common-law partner’s)
• dependent child of a dependent child
• parent or step-parent (yours, your spouse’s or your common-law partner’s)
• guardian or tutor

I am unsure about the dependent part in particular.
Would be grateful if someone can please clarify.

There is no such thing as renewing a TRV. You are applying for a new TRV.

Hi What is this new Portal Link ? I checked it is asking for Invite code . So from where I will get invite code for Super visa application for my parents

I know one with GC loginKey.

So In case of new Super Visa application I can apply any of them or only via new link ?
