Hi, which one of your application GC key or IRCC portal one was approved? Did you apply with the invitation letter and sponsored your parents? I am a new immigrant and have not yet completed 1 year in Canada, so do not have provision to invite and sponsor my parents. Hence I applied for self sponsored Visitor visa using IRCC portal.

Dad’s ppr - 17th feb 2022
Mom’s ppr - 14th mar 2022 (1st application withdrawn on mar 9th)

Hello,
I am Permanent Resident applied for Citizenship. My fiance She is doing her Ph.d in India. I applied for her Visitor Visa recently. I applied under her account on February 9th, Biometric completed February 28th, Still waiting for more progress.

anyone else applied for Fiance and got visa? since fiance is not considered as legal spouse.
Also
Why do you need a visa?
To visit other family who are not listed above or friends for less than 6 months

i’m very new here… not sure about what they consider when assessing an application, have read here people having strong ties n good financial getting rejected and someone without any ties or travel history getting approved as well…i’ve applied for my parents in november n still waiting….in short everything looks like pure luck

Eligibility started: Feb 28, 2022
PPR and BVL : March 10, 2022
Submitted to VFS: March 12, 2022
Received at VFS for stamping : March 14 , 2022
Passport Received: **Awaiting **


A very easy and straightforward portal to apply for TRV. IRCC promise 's a speedy processing if your application is considered REGULAR and they are sticking to timelines.

People complaining about the time IRCC takes time is due to their applications being flagged for second review or pending report from CSIS.
GCMS is the case management application for IRCC and each and every application has case age and tracking mechanisms.
So i request everyone to just pray that your applications are processed without any delay as mentioned above and sit tight ...

IRCC Portal was approved.
I applied with the invitation letters. Didn't sponsor my parents, but submitted my financials too.
