Hi All. We got ppr today for visitor visa for spouse. Applied on oct 19th, biometric nov 8th, ppr jan 22nd. We had applied on new portal. I am thankful to everyone in this group who share your advices and experiences.

My friend applied for her sister on Oct 29 in the new portal - No decision & waited till Jan 14 and reapplied again on Jan 14th using the new portal and got PPR on Jan 21

Sorry to hear that. Go ahead and reapply if you can provide some documentation and evidence to justify why those reasons are not valid enough

My wife's Visit Visa got approved today 23rd Jan 2022, EST 1.15pm (Didn't know they work on Sundays too!)

Dec 2, 2021 - Submitted Biometrics (delay bcos of lack of appointment slots)(VFS Canada Chennai-India)

There was NO STATUS UPDATES AT ALL..... there was a progress bar which showed the estimated completion time... but it never worked....just showed me the date when i applied
