Applied for my parents visitors visa ..!

Timeline:
Application Submitted: June 11, 2022
Biometric Request: June 11, 2022 (after 4 hours)
Biometric Done: June 15, 2022
Biometric updated on portal: June 15, 2022

Is the application process this much faster or it’s just faster initially and now hold back ?

The application was submitted on the 20th of Feb 2022 and the biometrics were done on the 23rd of Feb. Since then there has been no update on the application. Has anyone else faced this issue? My father submitted Feb 13 (he already had biometrics). And there has been 0 updates since then. We've tried webforms but they only kept referring to the backlogs... so I'm interested to know if anyone knows of a trick to move the application forward too!

You can raise a webform and just cross your fingers. Not much one can do than to wait
