Visit Visa Application (Using the new IRCC Portal)

Hi folks, I am planning to apply for spousal visitor visa. I have a question for you guys, how early can I apply before my tentative date of travel ? For those whose visa is stamped do they get Visa from stamp date or from their selected travel date ?

The visa is independent of spouse status

He/She should show their own funds and home ties to get an approval.

visa is always stamped from the visa approval date to the passport expiry

A BVL is received along with a decision on your visa application.

Lot of Oct / Nov files are stuck. Oct 26th is being processed. 31 is pretty close and you should hear anytime in the next few days

3-4 people who applied on the iRCC portal had the review of eligibility begin last morning

this has been consistent with how oct portal files have been processed so far

eligibility to PPR has been in 3-4 days

But yeah IRCC can change anything anytime

Not true my friend applied on jan 3 2022 for parents and got passport request yesterday .

My spouse's trv got approval and passport was stamped on 3 feb.

In new portal, I can read that application is approved and read the message below.

But there isn't any message till now.. can anyone tell me which message will be there ? I haven't got any email. Passport will reach my home tomorrow.
