I was expecting my application to go to Vienna, but it's staying in Mississauga. Hopefully that means that more cases are staying there as opposed to being transferred, and it lightens the workload of the Vienna Office so the cases already there can be processed more quickly. Hoping for the best for everyone.

Then you are lucky. The time there is alot shorter then Vienna, if I read the posts correctly, and the excel sheet.
Hope Vienna will step up there game.

I know Vienna has my application, but have not got an AOR2 letter.

I hope your application moves quickly in Vienna. I am somewhat relieved that mine is staying with CPC-M, but it could still be transferred out, or take longer so I'll only really be happy once this is all done.

I know some VOs don't send AOR2 messages. Has your ECAS changed to show In Process, and when you click on the link has the line: we started processing your application on... shown up? That can also be considered AOR2.

My spouse got an email saying his letter has reached the final stage of processing and is asking for his passport to be sent to Vienna. He also got a pre arrival services letter sent to him shortly after. IS THIS GOOD NEWS???

ECAS has not changed to decision made though. The only thing that has changed is that they are processing his background check.

This is very good news! It means that they are ready to issue the Visa and CoPR.

ECAS is sometimes slow to update, but I would say that you are nearing the finish line.

Hey guys my partner got their PPR today!
Timeline:
App received: May 28th, 2017
AOR1: June 28th, 2017
SA : July 5th, 2017
Med passed : August 9th, 2017
AOR2 : N/A
ECAS In Process : July 13th, 2017
BGC and requesting RCMP criminal record check with fingerprints : Febuary 2nd, 2018 (It took 28 days to get the criminal record check uploaded)
Pre arrival letter: Febuary 5th, 2018
PPR: Today! but it doesnt say decision made yet or anything on gckey.
And since my partner is from Germany they dont need to send their actual passport, only a scan with a passport photo to get the "Confirmation of Permanent Residence" form (IMM-5688) to be able to enter Canada.

Hey Greenania, congratulations! Its good to see my fellow May applicant get PPR, I wish you all the best with your new lives in Canada. Did the RCMP check have any hits or was it clean? I read that it can take many months if you have anything on it.

after re medical and police certificate,which did in feb 22 and they recieved and passed on march 5th 2018
today in my status it says DECISION MADE:

How long did it take to receive PPR after the background check started?

Also, how long did it take to receive your passport back after sending it?

I am wondering if I am very lucky, I may be able to come back home with my husband on April 29th. Fingers crossed!

I would expect your DM to be a positive decision, and you should get your PPR very soon. How long exactly I don't know, but the fact that a decision has been made means that they are looking to finalize your application.
