Your PCC will work perfectly fine. You are also within your right to request for a new one , assuming you still remember your EID number.

The only way to go about it is to contact the embassy at Ottawa and follow their lead. Don't expect it anytime soon as documents will have to fly to Egypt and come back

There is no need to call Dubai police. Fingerprint and attestation requirement is already known as it has been previously discussed in this forum. That is how I obtained mine.

Seeing that @yiso91 has put together a well written and well organized guide, I was only suggesting to include the information for people who did not have Emirates ID. That is all.

You don't need the physical card , just the number.

If you been issued one , try to look around for a scanned copy of it or speak to your previous employer they must have one in file, just get the EID number

Mr @yiso91 it looks complicated the security check can you explain that please if you know. my friend is straggled on this stage .she is Egyptian and lift the uae now she is here as permit work and she is afraid that might has a loan police case that a why her case is in security check is taking time .please advise

I had a question about SS since you -unfortunately- had to go through that. Is the likelihood of being under SS higher for Egyptians in general? Or do you think it has something to do with whether they had served for military service?

(Starting to gather all my documents and hopeful of getting an ITA by April but wanted to have better idea of the timeline to expect)

So , the whole thing about security screening is that no one can expect it nor know how long it will take, not even IRCC as it is effectively done by third-party agencies whom only send a simple instructions letter advising of the results without actual disclosure nor sharing of gathered information. In my case, it was me working at a relatively highly classified employer that got me under their rader, so I strongly believe it got to do with luck , potential risk factors according to IRCC/CBSA criteria and the clarity of your documents.

Hi i have a question and really confuse about pcc. So it stay in abu dhabi from april 2016 to june 2018. Before i leave UAE i get a copy of my Pcc dated jan.17,2018 and i left UAE june.3,2018.since then i never go back to uae and then leave the Philippines last nov.27 to come here in canada. My question do i need to get a new PCC for my PR application as i have here the original pcc that i get the last time.coz my PR is on process now.
