you get a soft copy even though u visit thep olice station. no hard copies are given!

Received Pdf copy via email and is good enough for citizenship application and if they can accept it for citizenship it should work for express entry as well.

Also it says on certificate that it is issued elctronically and does not require a stamp amd to check the authenticity please visit dubai website. Therefore color copy print should be equally valid.

Hi everyone,

I used to live in Dubai for two years as resident for working. But now I resigned and am living in Canada. I have couple of question:
1. Can I apply the PCC online without the Emirates ID Number? (because I am not with card any more and do not store the number elsewhere).
2. If so, where can I obtain my old Emirates ID number?
3. In addition, do I need fill the Biometric form and send it over by mail?

My experience has been that if you do not provide the EID# it delays the process...
You can try and ask a friend of yours to check through aany typing centre in dubai if they can help to locate your EID# e.g. providing your passport number or mobile#

I uploaded my passport copy, visa page(last cancelled one) along with the visa cancelation document.
I also provided the EmiratesID as well. Emirates ID is cancelled but still they retain your biometrics with them which comes in handy for situations like these
And hey you can pay with your non GCC credit card as well.
Expect them to provide you the PCC by email only in 2-3 working days time

It’s a separate document/ID card issued to people who have resided in UAE, this ID card has biometrics like your finger print, retinal scan and it is digitally linked to your residence visa. Resembles something like this....

Oh no. I left there in 2009. We didn't have this. But actually once in 2011 I got a police certificate there so I have my finger print in their system. Now do you think if I apply online without bio metric would be acceptable and they will use my previous fingerprints?
