Does anyone know if I can apply for the 10 year "supervisa" for my mom to come and wait in Canada while her paperwork is being processed? Do we do a change of address to my current address?
I sent in her paperwork Jan 2 and have received an email that my application was accepted and now the waiting game begins.
I am just wondering if we can apply for the supervisa and she move here with exit from the country every 2 years( those were the terms I believe)? I understand that I have to cover all medical bills and medical insurance - just wondering if we can start the move process.
Has anyone applied for the supervisa?

Yes, its a good plan infact I recommend that but timing has to be good- since she will be here, current address will be here and the file MOST likely might goto CPP-Ottawa which is way faster than other LVO's - if it does goto home country then it gets tough to take passport over there etc
Newer apps will be in line for process easy 1-2 years from now, thus timing is important - you can get her on Super Visa and extend too ( not sure how many extensions they give )
You have to pay for med insurance, pretty penny for that
