I am a mississauga april applicant and just heard from CIC to take the test in couple of weeks in scarborough. A friend of mine also from mississauga was moved to scarborough this month. Looks like they are moving some applications around to help with the work load. Good luck to all.

It would be nice to know how they're handling Mississauga files. There are still people from February waiting for test invites, so it's surprising to hear some April ones are moving first.

how much is the long delay you are talking about? is it within 12 months or significantly beyond 12 months?

I do not understand why the are moving some applicant to Scarborough when people from Scarborough have been waiting for more than 6 months. I am DM sin 29 June 2017 and up to now I have not get the oath invite. I am from Scarborough office

They should open up another office and hire more staff. Wait times for Toronto/GTA are rediculous. In Edmonton, my friend got his citizenship (oath) in 3 months from date of application.

I would suggest that you contact them. Maybe you are forgotten!? You never know.

Nothing makes sense with CIC. I'm a June applicant and I live downtown Toronto. When I called CIC 6 weeks ago I was told that I passed all the background checks and clearances and that the next step is a test invite, which has not yet been scheduled. I was also told that my application is in Mississauga....how is Mississauga the closest CIC office to someone living downtown Toronto is beyond me!

I had my test mid march 2017 in Missi. and my file is still IN PROCESS. Requested ATIP too as well as CBSA report..what is taking them so long?
