Urgent help - Query

"Have you listed all of (name) periods of military service or government positions (if any), and all of the organizations that (name) belongs to (if any)?"

I dont have any military or government positions, but I have worked for private companies, So I have selected as "Yes".

I assumed it is asking about companies that I have worked for as it was immediately below personal history section.

After reading few posts, I guess most people opt for NA. Will answering yes create any problem for my application?

Then the answer should be YES....it asks this to see if you have completed all the information asked for or not.

I am thinking this too. But there is another selection too, i.e. "Not Applicable". Why is that there? What's its purpose?

If this is the last question at the end of the form then obviously it should be answered YES...but if this is some intermediate question then it is a different issue. I can't recall exactly where this question was...maybe somebody who remembers can comment.

If the question is directly to ask you about military and government and if you have not served in either then I think you know what to answer.

Yes it was the last question. So to understand correctly, if there is nothing (no education, no employment etc.) in the Personal History section, then it is "Not Applicable". If there is at least one, the select "Yes".
