I just called Dr. Dwyer office in Vancouver for scheduling an upfront medical appointment. The front office told me that since I'm not under Family class, and not applying for student, worker, and visitor visa, they cannot do my upfront medical exam appointment. She was nice and very helpful but anybody had similar experience? Which doctors accept upfront medicals for my case? Can I put worker under CEC? I am on a visitor visa applying for CEC, and I don't want to confuse CIC officer regarding my status as I quit my job since Oct 2013.
FYI, my CEC application timeline is as per below:
App received: Oct 15th 2013
AOR received: Nov 22nd 2013
I have been stalking the forum silently, to check to progress of MR's. Toby and other senior members, you are my hero! Thanks for all the information you provided in this forum. Toby's website is very helpful indeed. I'll posts more so I can give you all the +1 you much deserved. Thanks again~

Thanks for the quick response Toby & Gladaki! Even though I am on a visitor visa applying for CEC, can I select 'worker' as the class? I was unsure since I don't want to confuse CIC officer regarding my status.
I noticed that Toby did his in Surrey. Anybody had experience with the ones in Vancouver?
