Hi
I went to apply for my study permit (SDS offline) So while submitting my documents and pssport, the vfs found my passport was slightly damaged with the risk of it coming out of the booklet. So they refused to accept it. They recommended me to get a new one
My question is whether my upfront medical ,which was based on my previous passport, would still be valid while applying for study permit? I would be submitting both of my passports.
Another query: I was applying through SDS offline. I paid the applicatio fees of 150 CAD. Can I use that receipt if I want to go for SDS online instead of offline?
Thanks a lot in advance! Any relevant answers will mitigate the tension

The upfront medicals are not mapped to any passport number. It is independent of any such entity. The upfront medical has it's own tracking number called as UMI# and this is what needs to mentioned wherever required. The validity is one year.

Well, the medical receipt I need to upload/submit with the application has my passport number mentioned, that’s why I was worrying about it. Where do we mention our UMI number, I didn’t see any place on the visa application to write this number.
