Applying study permit under SDS without upfront medical test due to COVID

Hi all,

I am applying for my study permit under the student direct stream. I am unable to take the upfront medical test at the moment. However, I did select 'Yes' when filling the questionnaire on the IRCC website. Will my application still be considered under SDS if I upload a letter explaining my situation, instead of uploading the medical test results??
Anyone else applying for study permit for Winter 2021 intake, please share your experience.....

Someone asked similar question on Twitter. To that, IRCC suggests to apply under non-SDS instead. I will send out a tweet if I’ll find one, now their feed is flooded with October 20th questions and parents sponsorship
