If she has a visitor visa or ETA. She needs a 14 day quarantine plan as her vaccine is not on the accepted list.

Canada doesn’t consider sinophatm as being vaccinated and they’d need to do 14 days of quarantine. It says you still need authorization and you will likely be approved but it is not guaranteed.

Would suggest looking at the thread about travel from India in the international student section. Don’t believe the route via the UK is possible but maybe that has changed.

Seems unclear to me if they are guaranteed entry and no authorization required. For parents of those who are temporary residents you get this message.

Find out if you can travel to Canada - Foreign national - Non-U.S. - Family - Temporary resident

• the immediate family member of a temporary resident

The exemption is for anyone entering Canada who is vaccinated with the approved vaccines in Canada not just PRs and citizens.

so incase of someone with a different vaccine than approved on a visitor visa they will returned back or subject to quarantine?
