@Doda: Congratulations! McGill University is really a prestigious institution in Canada. Montreal, as they say, is a nice place, with a lower cost of living compared to Calgary. Good choice!

@Doda: Admitted for MS in Veterinary Medicine in UCalgary. There are only 5 universities to choose from. UMontreal, UGuelph, USask, Atlantic Veterinary College and UCalgary. Very limited options and funding as well. Good thing I got lucky with a professor in UCalgary.

@Doda: Visa application is already in-progress. Although I'm experiencing a little delay since I applied online, which I did not expect, but I'm positive I'll get updates soon and approval by end of July. Have you applied for visa?

Yes, I've started mine 4 weeks ago. I hope it turns up well after the horror stories I've been reading here on the forum. The latest I know that I inquired about something 2 days ago and they replied that the application is in the final review stage. I'm applying from London, and I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.
@Doda: Replies from the Canadian Embassy are quite tricky. There are no clues if you'll get approval or refusal. One member here was so excited that his application was already finalised only to find out in the mail that was sent that he's been denied. All we can do is wait and pray it'll be an approval. Good luck to both of us!
