Unable to Login to ECAS

Hi Everyone -

September 2016 outland applicant here, Ottawa visa office. We submitted September 9 and are still awaiting movement. So far, medicals have been received and passed and eligibility is in review, no movement on background check either but we are being as patient as we can be.

We've seen a lot of applicants that submitted after us make progress so the paranoia is beginning to kick in.

We are able to log-in to CIC just fine and have been able to log-in to ECAS in the past (2 weeks ago) but for some reason today ECAS is not recognizing our application and stated that it cannot be found.

Has anyone else experienced an issue like this? Any insight would be appreciated.

My first guess is that they're working on it. If so, it won't show up again until after midnight.

If you've been able to pull it up before now, and it still shows up on MyCIC, then I would think all is OK.

You're about 2 weeks after my application. They started my background checks almost two weeks ago, so the timing sounds right.

My first thought would be maybe that you accidentally typed the wrong thing in one of the fields. I accidentally entered my husband's birthday wrong one day and almost had a heart attack.

Have you tried accessing ECAS with both the PA and the sponsor's info? Both can be used to log in.

Yes, i have tried that as well. The paranoia is very real right now.

Just tried Application number instead of UCI and it worked with my husband's info! thank you so much. Crossing our fingers and toes for some movement this week
