Mine is also under process since July 30. In another forum a person with in process on Aug 4 received passport stamped update today.
I don’t know what they are doing.

Yeah me too..Its very depressing seriously..Dont know on what basis they are moving the applications.They have picked my passport on 22 july ,on 30th it went to ircc and it is showing under process.dont know whether we should worried or is this usual time for Spousal PR stamping timeline.

I heard that Canada is going to extend their travel banned till 4th Sep.!!!! Air canada cancelled all flights till 4 setp. Not sure but I got this information on twitter.

Hello!
I have filled the webform on Friday but no response since thn. I wanted to know as in how many days VFS responds for collection? Also, in their auto-generated email after webform completion, they ask to keep package ready with consent form n Courier-SMS Form, but thrs no link for Courier-Sms form, so where can I find one ? And about the envelope, do we need to write anything on it or the Courier guy will do the needful while collection? do we need to send an extra envelope in package ?
Plz guide me as I am not getting any revert from VFS for my queries....

same here, we are two guys live just 3 km away. I submitted my Passport on 22th July and it is still in under process from 4th Aug.

and he submitted on 26th July and his passport got stamp and on the way to him already.

From My company I was the first who had submitted passport on 21st July. after that few others had filled up form on 27th, 28th July. They got their passport back last week and Mine is under process from while now.

This is pure discrimination based on application type, Delhi embassy is holding all the spousal pr applicants passports and stamping all other visa types in just few days. I think they will not work on spousal pr passports really soon. It's already 10 days for my passport being under process and 19 days when picked up, still showing under process and no counterfoil generated in my gckey. This is utter nonsense to hold spousal pr passports

Its been 2 years now i have not met my family.They took very long time to give PPRs..now we need to wait for passport also.dont know why they are discriminating Spousal PRs.

Discrimination of this type is not forbidden indeed, much of the immigration system is based on discrimination based on education, skills, and qualifications.

As spousal applicants, you're benefitting from discrimination in your favour to not prove language skills, medical fitness (apart from posing a danger to others), etc.

There are types of discrimination that are forbidden. This is not one of them (if it is happening).

It's what is called prioritisation and government is very much allowed to do that.
