Man I am really not sure if this is the best option, but please if you are 100% sure about it keep us updated about withrawing and re-submitting, maybe we could all do that!.. Good luck all

let's take our chances and wait for 2 more weeks?

In reply to my email inquiry, they mentioned that the app is still in process. Does that mean it's being reviewed by an officer or not even entered the queue to get reviewed?

Per your responses @AHHABB & @snehavyas, it looks like your file is ahead of me. Maybe you can tell me if you have got that response before?

Which form did u fill again on 12th October
Hey,
If you go to the CSE webform, you ll see an option in the drop down menu “Withdraw application”. Click that and in the body of the message explain your situation. If you’re planning to travel, upload your airtickets too.

Hope it helps

Hi guys I recently got my owp and I applied for trv which is needed when we enter in Canada. Online application in canada says 5 days. Its

Hi @snehavyas, I called CIC today and they told me that by 8-Nov, I'll get an update. They may ask for more information or an additional document. I have read in different forums that sometimes they ask for CV and travel history and then take another 2-3 months to finish the security screening.

I think I'd cancel my tickets :(

Let me know if you got some other information by the CIC agent.

I am surprised that the agent specified a date within 20 days to receive an update! however I believe this is good news! may be they won't ask for any further documents and only ask for your passport though!

Yeah, I don't think they will need any other documents. But now you have a date to expect something. I like to believe they ask you for your passport that day : )

Yes, I applied inside Canada. I have an open post-graduate work permit. This security screening is not something that agent told me. I was following other forums and got that information from those forums. The agent just told me that I'll be getting an update within 3 weeks. It may be a request for additional documents or more information.

Did you send your passport?
My elegibilty hasnt even started yet. This is horrible.
Did you guys get any decision yet? I am on the same boat and Im really worried as I need to go back home and my dad is not well. If you can share when you applied, will really appreciate it. Thanks a lot
