i applied though my agent from inside canada on 26th july and just got the passport request 24th september.i am on work permit and my pr is also in process.i hope that helps thankyou.

Hi everyone! I have a doubt for which i have not been able to get any answer so far:
I had applied for a Visitor Visa in 2017 which was approved and now expires on 2026, i had used the visa to enter Canada 2 times for tourist purposes in 2017 and Jan 2019. Then in the Summer of 2019 i applied for a Study Permit outside canada which was approved because of which i received a study visa which expired last month.
So can i use the previous Visitor Visa to re-enter Canada? I have tried contacting IRCC but to no avail , so i don't know if it is still valid. And the visa has not been stamped as cancelled.
Any help would be appreciated!

You can still use ... it's still valid until it's expiration.

Oh interesting! Because in some countries any subsequent visas invalidate old/previous valid visas. I've already applied for a TRV a week ago, let's see what happens, or i might cancel the application.

It does not invalidate it.
