I applied for TRV inside Canada via online on 13th dec. I have a flight to catch on 31st Dec.. Hoping they deliver my passport soon
my timeline is as follows:
Applied on Dec 13
Passport request: Dec 18
Passport sent on Dec 18 (Canada Xpresspost)
Passport delivered on Dec 19
Visa stamped on Dec 22 (Your application status in CIC portal will show a counterfoil number once they print the visa)
Waiting for the Return tracker to get activated.

There is no tracking showing yet meaning they haven't sent it out yet. I have travel plans on 2nd Jan 2019 I am not sure if I will be able to make it.??
My question is can I drive to Ottawa directly and collect my passport? Is there any possibility, I am trying to reach them but they only have email or fax.. Please lemme know if that's even possible and if yes how will I contact them to let them know and what which passport office in Ottawa I should visit? Please and thank you.

Got one more same acknowledgement email on 4th December
Then on 14th December got one more email like:-
“Thank you for making your application to visit Canada! We have received a large number of visitor visa applications from clients wanting to visit Canada at the same time as you.
We want to assure you that your application is in process and is proceeding normally. We continue to process the applications as quickly as possible.”
Tracking number shows your file is beingprocessed at canada visa office new delhi

You should change your travel plan. Because they still did not ask from you your passport. After request of passport from CIC, it usually takes 10-15 days to passport back.

I just saw the tracking got activated.. It was accepted at Ottawa Canada post waiting for it to be processed. Hoping I should get it before 2nd Jan.
