TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

Finally got the passport request today.
Applied: Jan 08

Have you applied within Canada? because I have applied in Canada on 20th March and they have received the online application(Submission Confirmation) on the. same day?

I applied on 25 Feb received submission confirmation on the same day. No updates after that.

did you manage to get visa stamping from India?

Not yet. I filled the webform and initiated stamping on 25th March. Got email confirmation on 26th March. Payment Link came on 1st April and AWB on the same day. I have mailed my passport on 2nd April for stamping.

i am also in same situation..however i am in Canada but they asked me for visa processing preferance as i informed them in advance about my travel..they also told me to pay biometric in India..they mentioned that in Canada bio is only valid for Canada..such a crazy demand..

They didnt reply anything to me..i dont know what they are going to do..anyway i am going to india soon..i can not put my life on hold for IRCC..they should understand situation of people in current pandemic.
