TRV Extension and OWP

Hello,

We are planning to apply inland to Vegreville in mid june. My wife is on a temporary resident visa that expires Aug 25, 2010. I have a question on the TRV extension and OWP.

1. I'm planning to include the TRV extension and OWP application along with the PR application. I've been reading in the forums that if the OWP application is included, a TRV extension is not required. Is that true?

2. If a TRV extension is required along with OWP and the PR application, should I submit the TRV extension before the PR application is submitted?

You can send it with the app,and you should have first stage approval before aug 25th but even then she will be implied.The WP will come with the letter for first stage approval.

so is it required to send a TRV extension application and an Open work permit application or just the OWP is sufficient? Would she be on implied status as soon as CIC receives the PR application and OWP application?

Yes she would be implied.And the TRV is not needed if your doing OWP

Does anyone knows if I can submit my application for an OWP after sending the application for sponsorship and PR under the Family Class?

I sent my application for sponsorship to Vegreville last Jan 5/2010. It was received on Jan 8 and CIC started to process it on Mar 13, the current status of the application is still "in process", my WP expires in July 2010 and it was granted after 2 years of post-secondary studies.

I'd like to know if I can send trhe OWP application right away before my current WP expires, thanks!
