TRV applied in July 2017 (India). Share your time line

Hello Friends,

I applied for my TRV on paper through VFS Office Abu Dhabi dated 16th August, received 2 confirmation mails on the same day.

I am employed in UAE for 2 years in the position of Accounts and Admin, i have no strong travel history except Oman and several visits to Dubai few years ago and I am from Balochistan PK.

Documents i submitted were as followed.

NOC from my employer
Copies of all pages old and new passport
copy of my Emirates ID and UAE Visa
Six months Salary account statement (statement only showing credit amounts)
Return Tickets (return in 3 weeks)
Date of travel 2 Jan, 2018
Invitation letter from my friend sponsoring my all expenses inducing accommodation
My friends Passport copy (Canadian Passport)
His salary stubs
proof of address and copy of his driving license.

My UAE residence visa expiring in Feb 2018 though it will be renewal as i am a permanent employee at a key position.

Please fellows comment on my case, what chances i have to get approved or rejected?

could you let me know how you have linked to cic? I applied for trv. I am trying to link it to cic. kindly help me out

Very Simple, first of all you need to create an CGkey id if you already have it just fine link my application, it will show you a short forum you need to fill with the details you already filled in your Visa application it direct you to your application after you submit the form and will allow you to access your application on CIC i just did it last night.

Sign up for GC key account:
(1) https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/l?ReqID=s20e84c4df20461c6fba674beb380ac71ec9c90c21
(2) follow the sign up step...at the end you get one option Link application to account
(3) select option temporary residence visa...and link with Family name and Date of Birth(if you don't have application number and UCI)
(4) enter the exact details which you enter in your Visitor Visa form.

Thanks for the information but i tried it says u entered something wrong. I tried for both mom and dad. Still same. This wait is so hard.

Remember ...enter exact details which you fill in your Visitor visa form...even do space or comma too if any

My friend's TRV applied on 31st july
Application number and UCI on 2nd august...there after no updates...

I applied VV online on Saturday and haven't got email or application number on my online profile?
Do you guys think is normal? Normally we get application number and UCI within 24 hrs, correct?
What should I do now?

It can take upto 5 days or even more. It took 8 days for my brother's first application.
