I and my wife are planning to submit her outland sponsorship application later this week, with that in mind though I've been a bit concerned on one thing. (For some background info, I'm Canadian and my wife is Filipina, we've both been living in Japan together for roughly 4 years now.)
We are planning to travel together to Korea for roughly 5 days and then around middle of July, my wife will be visiting family in the Philippines. My question here is, will travelling at all have any effect on the application process? I understand travelling while doing an inland sponsorship can bring issues, but how about outland?
On an unrelated extra question for the application forms, in sections where you need to add a "Present" date (Current job, Current Residence, etc.) since there is no way to put "Present" is it best to just put the same date as the application form or should I be putting a future expected date for some of them?
Travel while an outland application is processing is not an issue.
(I'm not sure about the date thing - I would put the date of the application form and then in the letter of explanation explain that, but I'm not confident that is the correct approach)

Am I reading this correctly, my husband is in his country and he needs to travel to another country for work for a couple weeks. We are in security check process right now. Is he allowed to travel while waiting for PPR?
