Maybe, but not really sure about that. Once you become a PR, your PGWP and TRV will be cancelled, so...if you delay becoming a PR until you get back...that may solve your problem?
I think it will solve my problem since both my PGWP and TRV are valid until next year.
Is there an option to delay the acceptance of eCoPR? I already submitted a PR photo and declared I am in Canada on May 9th.

This may be your only hope, IMHO. Talk to someone ASAP. Maybe even call IRCC on Monday and hope you reach a human that can give you the correct answer.
Good luck!!!

Thank you so much. I will try calling on both IRCC and the nearby MP Office. Hoping someone can help me.

Not sure the MP will be helpful, but it can't hurt.
You will also need an eTA to return, right?

MP helped me with speeding up the process of my PR Application since it is beyond average processing times, but not sure about PR Card since it is still within processing times.
I don't think I need an eTA as a PR or TRV/PGWP Holder?

Correct:
eTA exemptions
Foreign nationals with official Canadian documents
- Travellers with a valid Canadian visa.
- ---
I am a permanent resident of Canada. Can I apply for an eTA?
No. By law, Canadian permanent residents, cannot apply for an eTA.

Can an Immigration Lawyer help with PRTD -‘d PR card related stuff? Ugh I’m so desperate since it is the first time I will be leaving the country on my birthday

Now THAT would be expensive!
You need to call IRCC Monday and ask them to figure out where you stand. If you're not [yet] a PR, does that instantly change when the eCoPR
is issued? If so, you need to delay the eCoPR from being issued until you return...I think.

There is no ‘acceptance’ of eCOPR, the moment the officer signs it and sends it to you, you are officially a PR and are considered to have landed. Maybe you can try emailing the portal office to explain the situation and delay the ecopr but not sure if it will actually work. Once it’s issued you’d need to apply for a PRTD in Mexico or fly to the US and drive across the border

Thanks for this. I emailed the portal email on Friday as well and I will call IRCC now to probably get a response regarding my concern.
I have 2 options:
1. Apply for PRTD in Canada or Mexico and probably stay in Mexico for 2-3 weeks until I get my PRTD.
2. If my PR Card arrives while I'm in Mexico, can I have someone ship it to me via DHL or FEDEX?

Yeah, basically the 2 options other than going through the US land border. You can ask someone to ship it to you yes but obviously that carries its own risk (lost in mail etc).
