Transferring DLIs if I already have permit

I received my study permit from inside Canada because of special pandemic measures, and I also completed 2 semester from my DLI online from within Canada. I left Canada during the summer break to visit my home country and got accepted in a better DLI in the meantime. I contacted IRCC (5 times and spoke to 5 different representatives) to ask whether I need to reapply for a study permit with the new DLI or should I just update it online. I specifically told them I was outside Canada at the moment and that I’d already paid my lawyer to file for a new permit. They all told me to update online and withdraw the application if I’d already submitted it, so I did. Each IRCC representative I spoke to also sent me instructions on how to update DLI online and withdraw study permit application, so I have their names/rep ID numbers.
I need to travel to Canada now for in-person classes, will this be an issue?
