can u plz tell me if spouse is added wid the main application and she resides outside canada wil it take more than 11months to process the application..its been 6 month we have done our medical...

Nowdays mostly ppl from 2011 (transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa) are getting passport requests....

I sent an email to CPP-Ottawa about the status of my application, this is the reply I got:

Dear Madam / Sir,


This is in response to your email (see below).
Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.

An immigration officer will be in contact with you if any further correspondence is needed.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.

Hi Guys my timelines are as follow:

Alberta Family stream provincial nominee

Sent my pr application to Nova Scotia in May 2012 received on May 23,2012.
AOR and file transfer to local visa on June 19,2012.
MR, RPFP, PP request (a month after medicals as letter stated) on July 22,2012
Medical done on 31 july,2012.
Sent passeport on October 8,2012
RPRF cashed on OCtober 31,2012
Early November 2012, and e-mail was sent to confirm finalization in January 2013.
still waiting for passeport to be shipped back with visa

E-cas reads:

We have received your permanent residence application on May 23,2012
We started processing on July 31,2012
MEdical results receives

E-cas status: In-Process.

Hi All,

Hope 2013 started on a good note for all the members. I noticed that they have put on CPP-Ottawa as an office on the site and show a timeline of 11 months for it. As it has been 7-8 months for most of us, I guess it'll take some more months for the passport request.

@ Sohail: How was trip back home? Any news from CIC?
