The thing is I can never be sure while sending passports that they will come back in time before my trip.
The only way to come around it is to get it personally from Detroit, and I need to renew my US visa for that, which is another trouble!! Hmmppppfffff..
P.S. This is considering we get the PPR by then, which is again a guess!

I checked my ecas today and it changed to in process. It is dated October 15, 2012. It is kind of late update on my ecas but same date when they sent me an email.
I guess I have to accept that I am not going to get PPR this year. I called CIC 1888 and the only information they shed is that my papers is in process in CPP Ottawa and when I asked how long does CPP Ottawa process PNP PR application they said they Cannot tell the processing times for CPP OTTAWA because it is just a newly open office last June. So it is what is is then.. ??? ??? : hahahha.
Happy waiting everyone. Congratulations to those who got their PPR yet.

We started processing on July 31,2012.
Medical Results have been received.
I hope to have my passeport back by the end of October or start November when I hit the 6 weeks marks.
I will keep you posted.
Did you apply inland as well? ;D What is your visa Office? Is it CPP Ottawa? Your dream to become Permanent Resident of Canada will soon be realized! Cheers man!!!
I am overseas. My visa office is Nairobi Kenya.
My sister applied for me via AINP family stream.
Counting the days impatiently before coming to Canada.
I have some news for you. A friend told me that they give around 60 days time to send the passport as per PPR. Please confirm it with Sonic or others who have got it.
Now, if the PPR comes around mid-November, you'll have time around mid-January to send your passport. I guess you would be back in Canada by then and can send the passports, which can reach Windsor in day by fed-ex. In this way, your(and mine) trip would not be jeopardized. Hope it helps.
