Got great news! They have finalized my case and are sending my passport back in the next few days. This was sent to me by email.
Woo woo Canada here I come. To everyone that is waiting for the good news, hang in there. The wait is awful but it will all be worth it.
My ecas still says in process and has not changed since I did my medicals (they have reiceved my medical results) and I got the passport request.
So it looks like they don't always update the ecas.

Yea, just saw that also. I guess they will send the applicant email automatically if any update occur on the CIC ECAS
