@Bahia et al, Thank you everyone for the good wishes. I also pray your miracle will come soon. Now the reality is hitting me really good and I said to myself this is it now. After PPR it takes between 5-10 working days in SA for the sticker and passport ready for collection. That was what even the email says. Our process seems a little bit different here. My ecas changed to in process on the 24th May so I believe that that was when the started working on it (Backgroundcheck) and well as (Security Check) and until they are satisfied then they will issue medical only via snail mail. So mine took 30 days after medical to get PPR. In a nutshell it took 3 months from submission to CIO.

I sent all they required from me at once and made all the payments from the begining which I think helps. So if possible to avoid delay provide all necessary documentation at that stage.
I also notice that for any enquiries to VOs it is better you use CSE on the local VO website, it seems very quick to get feedbacks as it will go directly to the officer handling your case (That was what I learnt).

All together I will suggest to reduce the pressure and nerve concentrate on something else while you are waiting for the outcome and pray ;D .

@ Believing, at about an hour ago, I received my AOR from NS , my draft was actually encashed today too...Indeed God is still in the business of answering prayers...Thanks so much for all the encouragement, am looking forward to the next stage with lotta faith ...Oshee Broda Mii...

Toyeeen Congrat on your AOR now your application would be forwarded to your VO and then medical. Before you know it you are there, in SA after 2-3 weeks I sent a CSI to the VO citing all my relevant details and a week after my ecas changed to in process. Did you include all the docs and payments at the begining?

@ believing ... I didn't submit any documents aside from the ones on d check list...and only paid the processing fees, I ve not paid the landing fees of $490...I would definetely send dem. CSI after about 3weeks too...Oshee Oremi.
