I just received an AOR e-mail from CIO tonite at 9pm. I am so happy ;D
The complete application was transferred at the local visa office.
I just hope they won't be that long.
Unfortunately I can't remeber exact date but I know it was early march....say second weeek. Why is the exact day important to you though...just curious?

It is weird but they didnèt mention the visa name on the e-mail so I assume it is the one that takes care of our regions which should be Kenya Nairobi.

Additional documents requested: November 2010
Additional documents requested: (second time) November 2011
Nomination: April 2012
Applied to CIO Sydney: Application received on May 22,2012
Credit card charged: June 8th,2012
AOR via e-mail: June 19,2012 files transfered to local visa.
Hoping for their AOR soon
Edmontonbound..congrats bro!!! It's really strange that we are just 8 days apart in our application process and I haven't received AOR yet so far...though my card was charged on May, 10th. It may be because my application includes wife as my secondary applicant..causing increased processing time? or may be it's just the process... :-(
I e:mailed Sydney folks asking them the status of my application based on advice by Edmontonbound. Hope to hear something!
Anybody had any luck with trying to find out the status through phone? or any other e:mail addresses that are responded quickly?

Thanks Koolkarmaguy. Yeah, it is kinda confusing why they are taking so long to issue the AORs. You have crossed the usual time by a good length. Let's hope they reply with a solid excuse.
Hi Guys...good to be back been away for a while. Congrats Edmontonbound on Medical Received status...every update is a step closer. So always positive in every update.
