You probably should call them at Nova Scotia because it has passed 6 weeks. BTW when did CIO receive your application and not when you sent it. Please provide this info then I can add you to the track sheet. Cheers

Another question is that did you indicate your email on your application form? Anyway I will update your details on the tracksheet and I wish you all the best. If you need the number to call to confirm your application, you can call this number +1 613-944-4000
Cheers
I have updated your timeline and your look fast especially from Buffalo VO. One quick question...did you receive aor, and medical request from your VO or from CIO?
had call last week in CIC to ask regarding my application, then the officer said that my application is forwarded in visa office and its already on hand by specialist and they already received my payment, and i also ask if they will give me a receipt he said no need. so what can i do now? please help me thanks.

That is a bit strange to me. So what is your unique identifcation or application ID then? anyway let update your profile but can you please indicate you VO?
What am saying was that ideally you should have given a unique client identification number by now which usually comes on the email from CIO or earlier correspondence but in your case you have not receive any and accoding to you you were told that they forwarded your file already to your VO, where VO means Visa office as indicated on your application form. So where did you indicate as your VO?
when i call the immigration officer he said its already forwarded in visa office, so the problem they didn't email me if where the location of visa office.

Ok Joey calm down....everything will be fine. I can feel your anxiety. Lets take this again. When you completed your form initially (the generic form imm008) question number 4 ask for immigration office requested for processing your application. what was your answer to that question? what was your answer is your VO and secondly did you indicated your email address on that same form under question 6? if yes, the they should/might/would have sent you your aor. The problem could be that it is in your junk folder. I have seen quite a lot of people saying they found theirs in the junk folder. And it will almost be impossible to trace your form even from your VO without some sort of ID. Otherwise if you have not specify your email address in your form it could be in the snail mail to you and that also depends on your location. Hope this helps

Hi i am having the exact same Problem. I am in BCPNP even worse I submit my application in Sdyney in Feb 2012. The CIC online service said application received in Mar 12. And the Credit card being charged in Apr10.
And so far I have NOTHING in response to my application . I am so worried that its taking so long...
Hi. It says in the guide that you cannot use CIO Nova Scotia as your Visa Office. Are you from the Phils. and currently residing in the Phils.? If yes then you should have stated Manila, Philippines as your VO. Nevertheless, even if you put CIO NS, CIC would know where to send your papers. The email or printed letter that you should receive will give you your application number and UCI number. Likewise, they will mention a receipt number for your payment. Relax. If CIC told you that they have processed your payment and sent your papers to the responsible visa office, then you are okay. Just wait for the AOR via email or snail mail. Hope this helps. Good luck to you!
