It's the same date as they changed my status to "Approved" on my CIC account, when I called them it's been confirmed that this date was the date they sent the envelope.
The agent also told me that it's the date from which I need to count 6 weeks in case I would not receive my card. After that you need to send a filled form and they will print the card in two business days and will send it again.

Hi bro how many days after Approval did u receive ur card ? As u see I am in Edmonton and my card was approved on the 2nd of March yet to receive it ... They requested photo for my wife which we sent last week. My Landing Date is 20th Jan
Just got my pr card but my wife was requested for resending her pic last week 7th March any idea which month is going on for photo retake ... any idea how long it's going to take her to receive her pr card ?

You dont have to APPLY for a separate PR card application. It is in play automatically.
You may LINK your application through your CIC account to track it. Use Last name, UCI, and the date/place you landed as a PR for linking.
Once linked your status will change through the following stages
1. No additional documents are req
2. We are reviewing your documents
3. Status approved
You will also receive notifications on your registered email once your application is approved.
PR card usually arrives in 4-8 days after status update.

Is there any one who have resubmitted their photos in the last week of Feb? And any status update on the same?
Jan 12th: Landed
Feb 21st: Photo resubmit request for me. Sent them on Feb 22nd
Mar 1st: PR cards of my Spouse and Child received with validity from Feb 19th
Mar 1st: Photos delivered to PO box in Nova Scotia
