Hopefully they will get approved this afternoon. I saw the File Numbers between my spouse and I’s applications are a few numbers different. Since mine is the higher number, it could simply be they are processing those applicants in between first.

That makes sense, also could be in different teams though.

Landed: 05 April
Photo Re-submission Request: 22 May
Photos Received: 26/27 May
Applications updated (Ghost update): 26 June
Application Approved (Spouse only so far): 28 June

Hopefully mine will follow today.

Mine just now got approved as well. It took a few more hours.

Thanks again to everyone on here for sharing their own timelines. Having some sense of roughly how long it is taking to process really does help to provide some hope when months go by without hearing anything.

When you log into your profile and see an update but didn’t receive an email from cic saying profile updated.

What does it mean by “Ghost Update”?

I see a Ghost Update as one where your application shows as updated, but when you click on it and see the details, nothing changed.

While I also did not receive an email either, I do not always receive emails when other applications have been approved either.

I landed June 10 but when I linked my pr card application it shows as received June 30 (tomorrow) in the homepage, which is in the future! When I view the application, it shows the correct date. Is this normal?!

Hi guys,

I landed on18th April 2018
My Wife and Daughter received the PR card by 8th of June, but for me no response
Once i called CIC they said from our side there is no issue , address is correct , no picture request, but it is still in processing

Kindly advise your expert opinion on this situation
