My file was reached to NOC @ 28th May and I received my file number on 19th Sept. How much time will it take to receive medical request? One of my friend who has the same dates for file reach and PER received the MR on last Thursday. Our category is different.
Is there any rule of process category wise?
Please let me know if anyone has any idea about this.
@ Priten: no one knows the rule for processing. I read somewhere that it may take 30 to 40 days. I'm also waiting, for 35 days now since the last time I got the PER (Sept 9).

Bro...it varies, depends on visa office. NDVO is efficient and quick while London visa office is slow..Anyways, it depends on visa office and case to case. No one is certain about timelines , MR Request etc.
Wait with patience & fingers crossed.. There is no as such rule for first come first serve , adopted by any of visa office.
Once your file reaches to CIC, they will review your application, based on provided documents and calculate points accordingly. If all documentation, payment and points are 67 or more and they found eligible, your credit card/draft will be charged. Once it is done, you will receive email- Determination of positive eligibility review (PER), and your file will be trasnferred to your visa office for further processing (updated document request/MR Request/PPR Request) etc. Timeline/duration varies , depends on case to case.
Good Luck...
